Avalon Orchards provides tours during the weekdays from September to the end of October. We welcome schools, seniors groups and art clubs. The tour lasts about 45 minutes and includes a wagon ride through the orchard, a demonstration of how apples are organically grown and how to pick an apple, and a short woodland walk. We wrap up the tour with questions and answers and everyone is treated to some fresh apple cider!
